Earth day is Saturday! As the final day for our Environmental health and wellness mini-unit, I have a large listing of articles, blogs, and videos on 'environmentalism'... by the end of class, I would like you to set a challenge (or a few) for yourself to work toward loving our world a little more. Whether it be attempting to go paper-free in your kitchen, or simply decluttering a space and donating the things you do use to be re-used and up-cycled, please be ready to share your results in a brief comment posted here before the end of our next class (Physical Health and Wellness with Ms. Harmony Adams - Program Manager, Health and Nutrition at Samaritan's Purse. The "Exploring Environmental Health" activities are to help you understand the basics of environmental health, empower you to develop environmentally healthy habits, and view environmental health in a real life crisis.
Links to the videos and articles are on each worksheet... and in case you do not have a QR reader: Environmentally Healthy Habit • “What is Environmental Health” video • “What if the World Went Vegetarian?” The Flint Water Crisis • Flint Water Crisis Article • “What is Environmental Health” video Complete the worksheet and please have it ready to turn in at our next class. In the spirit of doing our part to keep our world healthy, Thanks ;) Video and Infographic created by Project School Wellness @Projectschoolwellness
